OBED-EDOM’S FAMILY IS A CUSTODIAN OF GOD’S ARK OF BLESSINGS.
This ark represents the blessings from God; glory of God; God’s presence; God’s provision; God’s presence; God’s power and direction. The same ark that kills was a source of blessings to that family.
God’s promises are to shake off whatever in order to allow His glory in the families of people at all cost (Haggai 2:7 and 9).
Therefore, we should have it as our heart desire to ask God like Moses, “Lord show me your glory” (Exo. 33:18). We should know that when the glory of God is real in our family, every other thing comes to be at our disposal. Any family without the glory of God is in trouble. Such will lack joy and peace. That is why the Bible says, “unless the Lord build the house, its builders labour in vain” (Psa. 127:1).
This lesson invites all parents to see the need of inviting Jesus Christ into our families. His presence will make the difference. He turn everything around for the good of the family. Barrenness; dryness; sorrow; bitterness; etc will be the experiences of the past.
Objectives of this lesson: At the end of the lesson, you are expected to have a practical experience of the benefits of God’s glory In your life and family.
